The
Infinite Mobile Delivery Server provides
the most powerful suite of email solution
available for Wireless Internet compatible
mobile phones and devices. The Infinite
Mobile Delivery Server extends the reach
of both corporate email systems (Exchange,
Notes, GroupWise) and ISP (Internet
Service Provider) email systems to these
mobile devices.
The
Infinite Mobile Delivery Server acts
as an email client proxy on behalf of
the wireless user, providing the user
with a view into their mailbox that
is optimized for the small displays
and bandwidth constraints of wireless
environments. Through this proxy, the
user interacts directly with their mailbox,
performing all of the standard actions
such as reading, replying to, forwarding,
and deleting messages.
Scalable
- The Infinite Mobile Delivery Server
scales from small business environments
supporting less than 50 users, to larger
corporate environments with thousands
of users. The solution also scales to
carrier-class and portal systems supporting
hundreds of thousands or even millions
of users in environments with fault
tolerant requirements.
Secure
- Remote wireless users connect to the
Infinite Mobile Delivery Server for
direct access to their underlying mailbox,
eliminating the synchronization problems
and security risks inherent with other
solutions that use a separate wireless
mailbox. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
and WTLS (Wireless Transport Layer Security)
protocols are used to ensure secure
access.
Real-Time
- All actions are carried out real time,
with updates recorded immediately in
the user's mailbox. If the underlying
mail system tracks deleted messages
in a deleted folder, then messages deleted
from the wireless device are also moved
into this folder. Similarly, if a sent
messages folder exists, outbound messages
from the wireless device are logged
in the appropriate folder.
Seamless
Integration - The Infinite
Mobile Delivery Server is a server-based
application that integrates seamlessly
with any IMAP4 (Internet Messaging Access
Protocol Version 4), POP3 (Post Office
Protocol Version 3), SMTP (Simple Mail
Transport Protocol), Microsoft Exchange,
or Lotus Notes, email system, or a mixed
environment containing multiple protocols.
The Infinite Mobile Delivery Server
also integrates with the underlying
directory systems of these email systems,
including LDAP (Lightweight Directory
Access Protocol). |
